This is the Best Fall Weekend to Visit Ocean City in 2021
All weekends in the fall are a good time to visit Ocean City. No matter what is going on you will always find something fun to do. The fall is especially great as the crowds thin out just a little bit. But this particular weekend coming up on October 23 and 24th is the going to very fun and full of fall festivities.
Here are some of Ocean City’s best fall activities taking place this weekend
This is Ocean City’s largest craft beer festival. It is a popular annual event. Oktoberfest will take place at Sunset Park in the downtown area of Ocean City on Saturday, October 23 (rain date is set for Sunday the 24th). Along the shores of the Assawoman Bay; it is a great local festival with some of the best scenery. The festival is put on by Ocean City Development Corporation and the town of Ocean City. There will be live music by the semi-local band Johnny Bling, vendors selling crafts, food trucks including the Street Kitchen and Pirates Cove Oyster Company, and more. Family members of all ages are encouraged to attend, even furry family members.
On the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, the giant and popular Halloween Maze will be up and ready for children of all ages to enjoy. This not-so-scary, “scary” maze is going to be bigger than ever this year. The maze will be lined with witches, pirates, scarecrows, zombies, ghosts in the graveyard and more. The maze can be found at North Division Street.
Taking place on October 23rd at 1 pm on the boardwalk near North Division Street. This will be the cutest parade you have ever seen. Anyone with a furry friend that has a cute costume is encouraged to participate in the fun. You can also just spectate and enjoy the cuteness too. There will be prizes and a chance to make donations to the Worcester County Humane Society in the form of pet supplies or money. Those who wish to participate need to fill out an application online.
The movie playing this year at the inlet parking lot will be Casper. The movie will start at 7 pm. Guests watching the movie will still need to pay the inlet parking lot fees and audio is available through FM radio and outside through local speakers. Parking is $3 an hour per car. Parking lot ambassadors will be available at the booth in the center of the parking lot to answer any questions.
Build your own pumpkin race car and compete in this fun and silly downhill race. Prizes will be given for winners of each division and a prize will be given for best creativity as well. Check online for the official car rules.
