Shipwreck Museum

This is actually best to go on a sunny day as most rainy days will find this museum packed. One of the best things is that it's completely free and has some really interesting things for kids of all ages and adults. This unique discover Museum is only funded by owner contributions and public donations. It's always an ever-changing exhibit with maritime heritage as its backbone. It has over 10,000 artifacts and 80% are rotated throughout the museums from around the world. It's located at 708 Coastal Hwy. in Fenwick Island Delaware just seconds from Ocean City.

Carousel Oceanfront Hotel

This is one of probably the best places with the best value in all of Ocean City, but even if you don't want to stay here, it still features Ocean City's only indoor ice rink, multiple dining options, an outdoor patio, live music, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, and it's always the center of many special events year-round.

Assateague State Park

Located at 7307 Stephen Decatur Hwy. in Berlin, again just minutes from Ocean City, Assateague State Park has been touted as one of the best Oceanside state parks in the country. It offers campsites, great facilities, horseback riding, on beach activities, events, beachcombing, and just an all-around great family-friendly destination. Check out the little white crabs that run around on the sand, listen to the local legends, or simply sit back and enjoy the horses galloping along the shoreline.
